Friday, March 14, 2014

Librarians are moving beyond the reference desk once again to help students with their research questions at locations across campus. The latest locale is the Student Life Centre (SLC), where librarians are teaming up with staff from the Writing Centre to offer drop-in research and writing advice.

Librarians and Writing Centre staff will be available from 1 to 3 p.m. in the SLC Monday to Thursday from now until early April. (Locations: Great Hall on March 10-12, 18-20, 24-26, 31, and April 1-3. Courtyard area on March 13, 17, and 27.)

database searching, essay organization, citations, topic development, thesis statements.

Librarians are also continuing to provide research help at the Student Success Office (SSO) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursdays as part of the SSO’s study sessions.
