UWSpace copyright review and deposit service

Would you like to make your publications Open Access? The Library has launched a new service to assist you to determine your copyrights and to deposit your publications into UWSpace, Waterloo’s institutional repository.

The review will include publications that have been:

  • Generated during your affiliation with the University of Waterloo.
  • Published in the last 5 years.
  • Born digital or digitized.

To participate fill out the form and provide us with:

  1. Your preferred publication or list of publications. Examples: CV, a link to your Google Scholar profile.

  2. Your commitment to provide the Library with the publisher's required article version for deposit (typically a post-print) on your behalf or your commitment to make the deposit yourself.

Contact us if you have questions about our service or if you are interested in depositing non-published research outputs into UWSpace.

You may enter your 16 digit Open Researcher and Contributor ID (ORCID). We'll assign it to your deposits. Learn about and register for an ORCID.
Files must be less than 2 MB.
Allowed file types: gif jpg jpeg png txt rtf html pdf doc docx odt xls xlsx.
Agree to the Non-Exclusive Distribution License * (required)
If you'd like the Library to make deposits on your behalf accept the Non-Exclusive Distribution License. Otherwise indicate that you'll accept it later when you make your own deposit.
Grant Future Permissions * (required)
Select 'Yes' to avoid filling out this form again in the future. Doing so implies that you agree to the Non-Exclusive Distribution License for all future publications of which you are affiliated with the University of Waterloo and where publisher permission is confirmed
