Management sciences students support teachers in remote communities in Pakistan

For over 12 years, students taking MSCI 651 and BE 605 courses have been involved in hands-on projects with humanitarian development organizations, applying information technology to solve problems in developing countries. The courses are taught by Prof. Peter Carr, a faculty member in the Department of Management Sciences. In the last 3 years over 200  graduate students have worked with Pakistan’s Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) Center of Education and Consciousness to curate online learning resources for teachers working in remote areas of Pakistan.
