Management Engineering is the engineering of human-centred, data-driven business decisions and solutions.
The distinctive skillset of management engineers prepares students to enhance business efficiency in an increasingly digital and AI-driven world by designing and managing optimized systems, products, and processes. Through a combination of courses in analytics and operations, software and information systems, and economics and organization science, graduates are well-prepared for careers in diverse industries such as software, finance, supply chain, manufacturing and healthcare.
With more than half of graduates returning to their co-op employer full-time, Management Engineering offers students the flexibility and opportunities to excel in various roles by improving how businesses operate and make decisions.
Co-op work term reports
Management engineering students must submit a work term report at the beginning of 3A, 3B, and 4A. Detailed instructions can be found at MSCI 391/392/492 Work Term Reports (PDF). Each 0.125 unit course contributes to the term average, making it worth 1/4 of a 0.50 unit course.
