The Henry G. Friesen International Prize in Health Research, established in 2005 by the Friends of Canadian Institutes of Health Research (FCIHR), annually recognizes exceptional innovation by a visionary health leader of international stature. Dr. Brenda Andrews is the 2025 Prize winner and will give a public talk at the University of Waterloo on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, in conjunction with the Friesen Prize Program.
