Mapping My Dad's Peaks: An Introduction to Web Scraping and Regex

There is a wealth of data available online in public-facing websites without API protocols. In this talk I go through some of the basic tools you can use to access and process this data, with a focus on regular expressions and web scraping. A project I completed for my dad is used to motivate and guide the introduction of these skills.
