Jason Deglint, Andrew Cameron, Christian Scharfenberger from the Department of Systems Design Engineering, Dr. Alexander Wong (Canada Research Chair in Medical Imaging Systems) and Dr. David Clausi, co-Directors of the Vision and Image Processing Research Group in the Department of Systems Design Engineering, and Mark Lamm from Christie Digital have won a Distinguished Paper award at the 2015 Society for Information Display International Symposium, held in San Jose from May 31-June 5, 2015. The award was for their paper entitled "Auto-Calibration for Screen Correction and Point Cloud Generation", which was based on industrial collaborative research work conducted in partnership with Christie Digital.
