John E. Munoz
John Edison Muñoz Cardona joined the Department of System Design Engineering as a Postdoctoral Fellow in 2019. He conducts research in game design that can be used to promote healthcare and wellbeing in children and older adults. John's research has used social robots, virtual reality, large displays, and brain-computer interfaces to create games that have the potential to change human behaviour.

As part of the postdoc community, John is always looking for opportunities to conduct multidisciplinary research across faculty research, and networking with other scholars conducting research in healthcare technologies. He has collaborated with the Human Optimization Modelling Lab, the Games Institute, the Intelligent Technologies for Wellness and Independent Living Lab and the Social and Intelligent Robotics Research Laboratory.
