WatCard system update
When: April 25, 2024 06:00AM - until further notice
Impact: WatCard services will be interrupted and will not be unavailable during the maintenance window.
If you are a University of Waterloo graduate looking to get your first Alumni Watcard you should contact the Alumni Office first and submit an Alumni WatCard request form.
If you have already been issued an Alumni WatCard but are in need of a replacement you can contact the Alumni Office to have a replacement card mailed to your registered address. All Alumni WatCards distributed through the mail are sent with the university logo instead of a photo.
If you need an Alumni WatCard with your photo then you must come into the WatCard service counter located inside The Centre in the Needles Hall Building(NH). This would apply to anyone looking to use their Alumni WatCard for access to recreation facilities on campus.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
