How to train your own AI model

Friday, May 9, 2025 1:30 pm - 2:20 pm EDT (GMT -04:00)

This session is designed for highschool students

In this workshop, you will learn about artificial intelligence (AI), from simple linear regression models to image classification and generative AI like OpenAI’s ChatGPT. You will also get to train your own AI models and learn about the problems that arise when training large models with complicated data (including bias and environmental impact). At the end, we will have a conversation about ways we use AI in our daily lives, and its benefits and disadvantages.

Location: DC 2585
