Elena De Jesus is a Lead Data Scientist at OpenText, where she’s part of the AI and Data Science team developing smart, data-driven solutions that support teams across the organization. She joined OpenText in 2019 after completing her Master’s degree in Management Sciences at the University of Waterloo. Elena began her career in project management, working on finance transformation initiatives, before following her curiosity and love for problem-solving into the world of data science. Her journey into tech hasn’t been a straight line, and that’s exactly what fuels her passion for leadership, growth, and making bold career moves. Elena is especially enthusiastic about helping others find their path in tech, and she’s excited to be part of this conversation with such an inspiring group of women in computer science.
Sagarika Madishetty is a Senior Project Manager within the Renewal Business Practices team at OpenText.She has over 12 years of experience leading strategic, high-impact technology initiatives across the private and public sectors in North America. She holds dual Master’s degrees—one in Engineering and another in Business—bringing a unique blend of technical expertise and business strategy to her work. Her career includes managerial roles at Verifone, Maximus, and Factory Bucket, where she delivered transformative projects in payment technologies, public sector modernization, and AI-powered manufacturing platforms. One of her most notable achievements includes successfully delivering the digitalization of the Ontario Drug Benefit program. A certified PMP and Scrum professional, Sagarika is recognized for her results-driven leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to drive impactful outcomes in complex project environments.
