We encourage students with disabilities to contact AccessAbility Services when considering application to the University of Waterloo to discuss our services and supports.
Once students have accepted an offer of admission we encourage them to register with our department and submit the required documentation.
There are significant differences between secondary and post-secondary education so we have developed a FAQ section to provide answers to many of the questions you may be asked by students around the application and admission process, application for registration with AccessAbility Services, housing etc.
We invite you to review this information and contact AccessAbility Services at 519-888-4567, ext. 35082 or access@uwaterloo.ca with any questions.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
