Rock This Town - Encore!

Friday, June 6, 2025 | 6:30 p.m. | Theatre of the Arts, Modern Languages, University of Waterloo

Rock This Town brings to life the exciting history of rock music concerts in KW from the 1960’s and 1970’s. An insider’s look into the gritty reality of building the local live music scene. This 70-minute documentary features interviews with music business pros plus performances by today’s musicians. Rock stars come and go but live music is here to stay!

Rock This Town was produced by Betty Anne Keller (BA '69), who will join each documentary screening to introduce the film and provide an exclusive Q&A session. The late Joe Recchia (BASC '68, MASC '71) and other special guests are featured in the film.

Saturday, June 7, 2025 | 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. | Across Campus, University of Waterloo

REdiscover UWaterloo is the main Reunion event on Saturday, June 7. Build your own adventure with open events. Then, add additional ticketed events when you register.

Take a trip down memory lane and explore the University of Waterloo campus. Take part in hands-on activities, tours, demonstrations and more or take a self-guided tour to your favourite spots. Pick up a Reunion event guide for information on what to see, do and eat!

Activities include:

  • Check in and light refreshments at Reunion Headquarters
  • Reunion shuttle service around Ring Road (9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.)
  • Sip and socialize at the Bomber
  • Computer Science Museum tours
  • Science open house

Forever Black and Gold Luncheon

Saturday, June 7, 2025 | 12 to 2 p.m. | Federation Hall, University of Waterloo

Join us at Fed Hall for a gourmet buffet lunch, interactive activities and displays and music. Reconnect and mingle with alumni and friends from all faculties and wear or bring along your favourite University of Waterloo clothing or memorabilia for a chance to win great prizes!

Milestone Anniversary Celebration

This event will feature a special celebration for alumni celebrating 25th, 50th, 55th and 60th anniversaries, with an archives display of photos and memorabilia from the milestone years.

Each year, UWaterloo welcomes thousands of guests, including guest lecturers, politicians, toddlers in daycare, alumni, parents, contractors and co-op employers.
