Kick off Reunion 2025 with a delightful high tea-style brunch hosted by Dean Bruce Frayne. Enjoy delicious bites while hearing the latest updates on cutting-edge initiatives from the Faculty of Environment. Get an inside look at the Future Cities Institute, the plans for our new Graduate School of Environment, and the exciting progress toward our Environment 2035 vision. Welcome back, Planning alumni! Join us for an update on the School of Planning’s latest news, and future direction. Hear about what’s changed, what’s stayed the same, and what’s on the horizon. Connect with Planning faculty, students, and fellow alumni from across various sectors for an engaging conversation about the future of planning at Waterloo.

What if the cities of the future were yours to build?
Join the Future Cities Institute team to explore how we can design cities that are sustainable, resilient, and equitable. Then, roll up your sleeves for a hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own vision of the city of tomorrow. Whether you bring your expertise or let your creativity flow, this interactive session will inspire and challenge you to build the best city yet.

Location: Environment 1, Room 134
Get your hands dirty and take part in a family-friendly, drop in style workshop that blends fun with sustainability! Create your own seed bombs, beeswax wraps, and learn practical survival skills to take into the wild. Leave with your own sustainable keepsakes and new skills as part of your ReDiscover Uwaterloo Reunion 2025 adventure.

Planning class of 1984 | Reunion Dinner
Location: Proof Kitchen & Lounge - 110 Erb St. W, Waterloo
Wrap up the evening in style at the vibrant Proof Kitchen and Lounge. Indulge in delicious food and wine as we relive the glory days and toast to the future.
Cost: $80. Cost covers a 3 course dinner!

Planning class of 2020 | Food swag is back!

Planning class of 2020! Grab a pizza, a drink, a white shirt and a marker - the Food swag event is back on in the Planning studio for one night! Reconnect with your cohort and get those signatures you missed out on. Let's make this a night to remember.

Every year, the Faculty of Environment welcomes all alumni back to campus for reunion, a special celebration for grads to reconnect, reminisce and revisit the people and places that made their university years so memorable.
In addition to events designed for the entire alumni community, some classes celebrating milestone reunions (occur every five years starting from 5-years to 50-years) have Class Champion volunteers who plan special class-specific activities.
We hope you can join us to catch up with your classmates, see how the campus has changed over the years, meet the current Dean of Environment and keep in touch with your classmates until the next reunion.
