Gig Economy

A generation ago, finding a job after graduation was about interviewing for a 9:00 to 5:00 career opportunity. Today, graduating students have to find their way through a maze of contract work, part-time jobs, short-term positions, side hustles, consulting opportunities and entrepreneurial ventures. To understand the exciting – and terrifying! – world of the gig economy, this event brings together a group of presenters who’ve found a way to survive and thrive in this new reality.
