The School of Architecture at Waterloo is a leader in design education and research. It offers a fully cooperative professional program, and has been rated the greenest architecture curriculum in Canada. It is also the only Canadian school of architecture to have a permanent international facility, which has operated since 1979 in Rome, Italy.     Professor David Correa didn’t know quite what to expect when he launched a class for graduate students at the School of Architecture to explore the potential of a new 3D printer for clay.

    Six months later, he couldn’t be happier with the one-of-a-kind projects they produced after being challenged to design and build small walls made out of bricks.
