Basin or Nevada Goldenrod

Solidago spectabilis (D. C. Eaton) A. Gray is native to boggy or marshy grounds, alkaline meadows and hot springs in Nevada and adjacent states. Thg phyllaries usually narrowly ovate to lanceolate, margins flat, tips obtuse to acuminate; rays usually 8–12 (Semple & Cook 2006 FNA).  The range is shown on the same map as S. confinis.  The species is diploid 2n=18.
