Gray Aster

Herrickia glauca (Nutt.) Brouillet  is native to mountains of the Great Basin of Ariz., Colo., Idaho, Mont., N.Mex., Utah, Wyo. (Brouillet 2006, FNA).  It has been treated as Eucephalus glaucus Nutt., Aster glaucus (Nutt.) Torrey & A. Gray; Aster glaucodes S. F. Blake, and Eurybia glauca (Nutt.) G. L. Nesom. 

  • var. glauca  (distal stems, peduncles, and phyllaries non-glandular)
  • var. pulchra (Distal stems, peduncles, and phyllaries stalked-glandular)
