Solidago ouachitensis

Ouachita Mountains Goldenrod

Solidago ouachitensis C.E.S. Taylor & R.J. Taylor is rare on mesic, north-facing slopes in the Ouachita Mts. western Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma. Historically Solidago ouachitensis has been included in S. caesia or S. curtisii; it is ecologically and morphologically distinct (Semple & Cook 2006 FNA).  The species is diploid 2n=18.
