Spring-flowering Goldenrod
Solidago verna M. A. Curtis ex Torrey & A. Gray is native to open woods, fields, dry bogs, roadsides of coastal plain in a small area in North and South Carolina. The species is covered in short hairs and blooms in the spring (Semple & Cook 2006 FNA). It is a threatened species listed in the Center for Plant Conservation’s National Collection of Endangered Plants. The species is diploid 2n=18.
