Gowrish B., received his MTech degree (2013) in RF Design and Technology from CARE, Indian Institute of Technology – Delhi, India. He worked as a Systems Engineer at Cypress Semiconductors till 2014 and worked as a Scientist/Engineer in Communication Systems Group at Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) Satellite Centre, Bangalore from 2014 to 2017. He joined Centre for Integrated RF Engineering (CIRFE) in Fall 2017 and he is currently working toward his PhD degree in the department of electrical and computer engineering, University of Waterloo, ON, Canada.
He has worked on NRD Guide at 60 GHz, power combiners for Doherty power amplifiers, PCB antennas at 2.4 GHz. His current research interests include design of dielectric resonator based filters, co-axial cavity based filters for satellite application, passive system design using waveguide, rect-ax and microstrip technology. He has 14 publications including 10 conference and 4 journal articles. He has been the recipient of IETE Student Journal Award (2016). He is a member of IEEE, MTT-S and AP society.
