Certificate in Business and Entrepreneurship

Current Waterloo graduate students in the Faculty of Engineering can take three BE courses to receive a Certificate in Business and Entrepreneurship from the University of Waterloo.

Please complete the following form to request the BE certificate upon graduation from your home program.

Notes: 

  • Credits may be applied to receive the certificate or the Graduate Diploma in Business and Entrepreneurship, but not both.
  • Engineering students who are in the Specialization in Business Leadership or Specialization in Entrepreneurship are not eligible for the BE certificate.

This certificate is only available to current Waterloo graduate students enrolled in the Faculty of Engineering.

To the best of my knowledge, I have completed the requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Business and Entrepreneurship from the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Technology.

At this time, I do not plan on pursuing the Graduate Diploma in Business and Entrepreneurship.

However, if I decide to complete the Graduate Diploma in the future, I understand that I must return the Graduate Certificate as I cannot hold both at the same time.
