How to apply

After you have reviewed and prepared your application documents, you are ready to apply.

Step 1: Prepare your documents

You will need:

  • Digital copies of your transcript and degree certificate documents for all formal, post-secondary education you have received
  • Résumé
  • Reference information: name, title/position and official email address
  • English Language Proficiency (ELP) testing scores (if required)
  • Drafted 500-word Letter of Intent
  • Permanent Residency (PR) card or record of landing (if required)

Step 2: Create an online application account

  • Apply at least two to four weeks ahead of your program's application deadline to ensure that you have time to upload your supporting documents, and that your referees have time to submit their reference forms.
  • Create an online application account. Note that you may have only one graduate online application account.

Step 3: Start your online application

From the Welcome page, choose the START NEW APPLICATION button, or access a saved application by selecting the Graduate Application link.
  • Select your program, attendance type, and degree option
  • Enter your academic background and referee details
  • Pay the $150 CAD non-refundable fee per program

Step 4. Upload your application documents through your Applicant Portal

  • Use your Applicant Portal to upload required documents, monitor references, and track status
  • When all items are received, your application is complete

Video interview

Only qualified applicants who meet or exceed all the admissions requirements will be invited to participate in a video interview.

Video interview questions are designed to better understand applicants' abilities, attitudes and aspirations.

The video interview is the last stage of the application process and is reviewed by the MBET program director, who makes all final admission decisions.
