Graduating students

If you are a graduating student (i.e., graduand) with disabilities requiring special arrangements for your convocation ceremony such as sign language interpreting, assisted listening devices, special seating, mobility assistance (e.g., wheelchair), a personal guide, alternate format materials (Braille or large print), an adapted convocation gown or other related assistance, please complete the form below. In order to meet accessibility requests, notification must be received by June 3 for spring convocation and October 11 for fall convocation.

The deadline to submit a request through the online form for fall convocation has now passed. If you have any requests, please email convocation@uwaterloo.ca and we will do our best to accomodate you.

Guests

If any guests have difficulty with stairs or require mobility assistance (e.g., use wheelchair or walker), please use our request form to obtain Special Guest Seating tickets. Special Guest Seating tickets are limited (maximum of two per guest) and are available on a first-come, first-filled basis.

Guests with who require accommodation should arrive at least 15 minutes before the doors open. Guests should be dropped off at the ground-floor-level door located beside the steps to the south entrance of the Physical Activities Complex. Ushers in the main gymnasium will show guests to the reserved seating area.
