Award description:
Several scholarships valued between $5,000 and $20,000 may be provided annually to graduate students registered full-time in the Master of Business and Entrepreneurships and Technology (MBET) program in the Conrad Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology Centre in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo.
Preference will be given to Canadian Citizens or permanent residents. However, exceptional international applicants may also be considered. Applicants will be selected by a departmental committee on the basis of their entrepreneurial orientation, and record of academic achievement. Interested students should consult the Conrad website for deadline details. These scholarships are made possible by a donation from the Conrad family.
Value description:
Each award is valued between $5,000 - $20,000.
- Full-time graduate students registered in the Master of Business and Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) program in the Conrad Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology Centre in the Faculty of Engineering.
- Preference will be given to domestic applications and applications from Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents. Exceptional international applicants may also be considered.
- MBET entry requirements will be the minimum criteria for determining eligibility.
- Recipients will be chosen by a panel of faculty based on an assessment of the applicant's entrepreneurial orientation, and record of academic achievement.
- Selection will be made in the spring term for the following academic year.
