Eric Mallia – a second year Master of Environmental Studies (MES) student in Environmental and Resource Studies (ERS) – won the award for best poster at the University of Waterloo's 3rd Annual Student Colloquium on Climate Change. Held on 10 and 11 March 2011, Eric's poster was entitled "Exploring Home Electricity Management Strategies as a Climate Change Mitigation Option."

Enrolment for Spring 2011

Undergraduate class enrolment for Spring term takes place this week: February 8-12/2011.

Environmental and Resource Studies (ERS) professor, Rob de Loe, has been honoured with an "Award of Excellence in Graduate Supervision" from the University of Waterloo. Recognising Rob as "an outstanding mentor, champion and role model for graduate students," he will receive his award at convocation in June 2011. This is a richly-deserved award, and the entire department is delighted for Rob.
