In addition to the fun activities detailed below, which are open to ALL Faculty of Environment alumni, this year we also have several Class Champions helping their class celebrate a milestone reunion!
In his talk, Julian will show how young people in the Roxbury neighbourhood in Boston formed a coalition called ‘Clean Buses for Boston’ as a response to increased asthma levels in the area. He will look at global climate justice activism, highlighting especially, the role of young girls and women and finally, he will look at food justice: who grows Canada’s food, and why this matters.
