ArtYard is pleased to present Ordinary Obsessions, an exhibition in which two playful minimalists encounter the banality and mystery of material culture, lived experience, and time.

Natalie Hunter (MFA 2013) was awarded a commission from the City of Kitchener to create a public art piece.

(Un)settled is a site-specific exhibition and residency that sets out to investigate and unsettle the history of the Guild Park and Gardens, formerly the Guild of all Arts, in Scarborough.

Zana Kozomora (BA 2015) is part of the exhibition The Tourist / Stained, which is a result of Centre[3]’s Emerging Artist Residency program. Zana Kozomora and Olga Klosowski Schellenberg’s practices explore notions of home, nationhood, and nostalgia through found objects and re-appropriated media forms.

Fine Arts alumna Amara Pope (BA 2015 majoring in English and Fine Arts with a digital media specialization) is currently pursuing her PhD at Western University focusing on Drake and his successful use of self-branding different identities to connect to different communities.

In the summer of 2014, Tara Cooper participated in a residency at Landfall Trust in Brigus, Newfoundland. During her stay, she researched the history of the area and took note of the weather.
