The fall edition of Unsettling, which features work by Basil AlZeri, Lori Blondeau, Duorama (Paul Couillard & Ed Johnson), Terrance Houle and Lisa Myers, runs from September 5 - October 21, with the official reception September 13.

Congratulations to Lisa Birke

Congratulations to Fine Arts Alumna Lisa Birke (MFA 2013) on her appointment as Assistant Professor Digital and Extended Media at the University of Saskatchewan!

The annual Fresh Paint / New Construction exhibition showcases the best in painting and sculpture from Canadian university students.  This year forty-four emerging artists were selected from twelve institutions including: the Alberta College of Art and Design, University of Regina, University of Manitoba, University of Waterloo, York Univeristy, OCAD University, University of Ottawa, Concordia University, UQAM, Bishop’s University, Université

PLUS Art Fair is the first art fair of its kind that showcases the work of Master's of Fine Arts (MFA) current candidates and alumni artists from across Canada. Their mission is to present the public, and those in the arts and culture profession, with the next generation of artists that will inhabit Canada’s galleries and who will guide generations to come.

Zana Kozomora (BA 2015) is part of the exhibition The Tourist / Stained, which is a result of Centre[3]’s Emerging Artist Residency program. Zana Kozomora and Olga Klosowski Schellenberg’s practices explore notions of home, nationhood, and nostalgia through found objects and re-appropriated media forms.
