DAAD - German Academic Exchange Service will present a series of webinars on their student funding programs for study, research and internship opportunities in Germany at noon EST daily from October 4 - 6, 2021.
DAAD has programs for students in all fields of study and at all stages, from Bachelor to PhD, even for recent postdocs.

GER 250/350 German Performance improves students' oral and written skills via creative performances in our everyday life. Students will be actively involved in marketing products, conducting job interviews, writing résumés, improvising theatre skits, hosting poetry slams, or even instructing yoga - all in German.

The Faculty of Arts at the University of Waterloo invites applications for two positions at the rank of Lecturer, for definite-term contracts of three years beginning August 1, 2021. These positions will support a Faculty-wide initiative, “Arts First”, designed to help undergraduate students build foundational competencies in communication and analysis in small class settings.
New Spring 2021 course
The Waterloo Centre for German Studies is pleased to announce grants to support initiatives aimed at diversifying German studies and making it more inclusive. This will be of interest to programs, instructors, faculty members, and graduate students who are pursuing projects that will facilitate diversity and inclusion in scholarship, teaching, and public outreach.
Applications are currently being accepted for the Cecilia and Late George Piller Graduate Research Award.
The Cecilia and late George Piller Award is given each year to two excellent full-time graduate students in the Faculty of Arts who conduct research related to German language, culture, history, and/or society. Each award is valued at $4,000.
