Two scholarships, valued at up to $5,000 each, will be awarded annually to full-time University of Waterloo graduate students in any University of Waterloo graduate program. The fund is made possible by a donation from Elise Devitt, UWaterloo retired staff member, in memory of her husband, T. James Devitt.
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of scholastic excellence and financial need and a demonstrated interest in graduate studies. Recipients must be an Ontario resident. The selection will be made by Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs on a university-wide rotating basis.
Two scholarships annually, valued at up to $5,000 each, however the value and/or number of Awards may change from year to year.

Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
