Award description: 

This annual award has been established in memory of Laurence Hamlin, BASc 94, MASc 96 (Civil), in recognition of the significant contributions to classroom teaching being made by graduate students within the Faculty of Engineering's Civil Engineering program and specifically the environmental and water resources area. The awards, consisting of a cash prize and a citation, are open to individuals who are currently involved, or have recently been involved, in teaching University of Waterloo undergraduate students in the Environmental Engineering (Civil) program while pursuing a course of study leading to a graduate degree within the Faculty of Engineering. Selection will be made annually by the Civil Engineering Undergraduate Chair.
