Resource Responsibilities: Innovation for Responsible Mining, is a travelling in-class workshop developed in collaboration with the Earth Sciences Museum at the University of Waterloo. The program is designed to introduce students (grades 7-10) to mining in Canada, environmental concerns associated with mining, and current research into mine site remediation. The workshop was funded by a Ontario Research Fund - Research Excellence grant awarded to Drs. Blowes and Ptacek.
