Each August, 44 high school aged students from around the world attend the Quantum School for Young Students (QSYS) at the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC). Many high school mathematics curricula do not teach some of the mathematics necessary to help students understand quantum mechanics and cryptography. The Mathematics of Quantum Mechanics is written to ease students into the mathematics of quantum mechanics – complex numbers, linear algebra and how they are used to describe quantum phenomena. The mathematical approach described in this book is very well suited for quantum information and quantum cryptography.
We are now offering The Mathematics of Quantum Mechanics to anyone with basic mathematical knowledge interested in learning about the mathematics of quantum mechanics.
