Abstract
In the Standard Model of particle physics the weak nuclear force is one of the fundamental interactions. A sensitive way to study the structure and symmetries of the weak interaction is through Beta decay transitions between mirror nuclei, also known as mirror transitions. Several Standard Model parameters have been determined through mirror transitions and they also provide a means for probing physics beyond the standard model. At the National Superconducting Cyclotron's BECOLA facility it is possible to produce polarized radioactive low energy beams of mirror nuclei. We have proposed an experiment to measure decay correlations of mirror transitions there with the aim of determining Standard Model parameters and to search for new physics.
