Recognizing excellence in communications for 2012 Annual Report.
The Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) was awarded an Awards for Publication Excellence (APEX) 2013 Award of Excellence for the 2012 IQC Annual Report. IQC’s annual report highlights research activities from the past year with the 2012 report focusing on the grand opening of the Mike & Ophelia Lazaridis Quantum-Nano Centre.
The APEX awards are an annual competition for publishers, editors, writers and designers who create print, web, electronic and social media. The APEX 2013 awards are based on excellence in graphic design, editorial content and the success of the entry in achieving overall communications effectiveness and excellence. The IQC Annual Report was one of seventy-eight communication pieces to receive an award of excellence out of 2,400 submitted entries.
In previous years, IQC annual reports have also won three League of American Communications Professionals awards.
