Watch video clips of MIT professor Seth Lloyd discussing all things quantum during his recent visit to IQC.

Dr. Seth Lloyd speaking at IQC
Dr. Seth Lloyd, a self-described "quantum mechanic" and professor of mechanical engineering at MIT, recently sat down at IQC to discuss the importance and the amazing potential of quantum information science.

Lloyd delivered a guest lecture about time travel during his visit, and said he was "extremely impressed" by the cutting-edge research being done at IQC.

"IQC and Waterloo are now a world-centre for quantum computing," Lloyd said. "Everybody knows about it, everybody comes here."

Check out the video clips below for Lloyd's insights on the weirdness (and the beautiful simplicity) of quantum mechanics, and the revolutionary role quantum information will play in the future of science and technology.
