Students who have received an Offer of Admission to Waterloo are invited to join us on this special visit day.
KI professor Mathieu Feagan has recently published his work in the journal Urban Transformations.
In addition, he and colleagues Marta Berbes and Nandita Basu received the Climate Institute/Water Institute Seed Grant (NFRF International) for their project, “Nature-based solutions for urban Latin America: Imagining alternative pathways for urban resilience”, ($15,000).
Future Cities: Knowledge Integration Seminar featuring Marta Berbés-Blázquez, Caivan Communities Professor, School of Planning and Faculty of Environment, University of Waterloo
The graduating class of Knowledge Integration students will be presenting "flash talks" about their senior research projects, followed by individual discussions at their poster displays. Forming the capstone of their four-year undergraduate career, these projects represent an exciting synthesis of the diverse disciplines the students have explored through this one-of-a-kind interdisciplinary program.
Prioritizing Wellness: Knowledge Integration Seminar featuring Anvita Desai, BKI’ 21, Equity, Inclusion, Diversity, and Anti-Racism Specialist on Ontario Health’s Provincial Equity and Indigenous Health portfolio
The field trip kicks off the Museum Course, where Knowledge Integration students practise interdisciplinary collaboration by designing original, working museum exhibits. They start by studying museums in a museum-rich city, and they finish with an exhibition of their own work in March of their third year.
KIX (n): Knowledge Integration eXhibition; a convergence of disciplines, teaching methods and creative minds in an object-centric exhibition on topics related to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.
The students in the Knowledge Integration program invite you to experience the culmination of our third-year design project: The Museum Course. Working in teams to produce these exhibits has been a rewarding and unique experience.
