Monday, March 11, 2019 — 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM EDT

This workshop is geared towards graduate students and researchers who wish to conduct a systematic review for either a thesis, coursework or journal publication.  A ‘systematic review’, as opposed to a traditional literature review, uses a structured methodology to answer a focused research question.  It is transparent, reproducible, and involves an exhaustive search of the literature using explicit criteria for study selection.

Wednesday, March 13, 2019 — 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM EDT

Trying to create a well-researched and well-written essay? Attend the “Turbo Charge Your Term Paper” workshop to help you get started! The Library and the Writing and Communication Centre present a 30-minute lesson on addressing the most common problems in the researching and writing process, followed by time to work through your own assignment and receive one-on-one help, regardless of where you are in the researching/writing process. Attend the lesson, drop in for a consultation, or both!
