MDEI student presentations on May 26

Thursday, May 15, 2014

In January, Waterloo librarians Tim Ireland and Laura Bredahl presented Master of Digital Experience Innovation (MDEI) students in Paul Doherty’s Project Management class with a challenge: What is information literacy, and how would you pass on information literacy to the next generation of students?

In the following months, the MDEI class divided into five groups and took up the task.  MDEI students are now ready to present their final projects to the Waterloo community! Students, faculty, and staff are invited to join MDEI students and library staff for this experiential learning presentation.

Topic: Definition of Information literacy and how to make the next generation of students information literate (from MDEI students)
Date: Monday, May 26
Time: 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. (will not take this long please feel free to bring your lunch)
Location: Lib 329 (Flex lab)

RSVP to Tim Ireland (tireland@uwaterloo.ca) by May 22 so we have an idea about how to optimize the room configuration.
