Winter 2016 research skills workshops

Tuesday, February 16, 2016

Welcome to the winter 2016 term! Registration is now open for the Library’s research skills workshops. Why not start the new year off by learning about search strategies that will save you time and energy later in the term?

Library workshops offer you the opportunity to gain insight into the research process while you develop important skills that every student should have. Be sure to sign up as soon as possible to reserve a spot in workshops such as:

  • LIB 003: Searching Databases

  • LIB 004: Evaluating Information

  • Demystifying the Special Collections & Archives

  • Finding Government Information & Research Institutes

For a full list of workshop offerings, consult the workshop registration page.

Taking a workshop is a great way to improve your academic abilities (and it will look great on a resume or CV)!
