This notebook on laundry work, prepared by K. Mary E. Shaw, appears to be her notes as a student in this course as it contains corrections and a signature in red ink throughout. The volume contains neat ink ms. on ruled paper with pasted-in cuttings from trade catalogues and books, detailed drawings, etc., in marbled boards.
The majority of Shaw's notebook provides tips and instructions for laundry work. After a section of blank pages, Shaw begins a section that includes chemical formulae and some notes on teaching. The two sections have been presented here for easier viewing.
