Special Collections & Archives in the iconic Dana Porter Library building
will open 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 2-3 p.m. for behind-the-scenes tours
and an overview of its more than 300 collections, including the University of Waterloo Archives.
At 1 p.m., Ken McLaughlin, distinguished professor emeritus and the University of Waterloo’s official historian, will give an illustrated talk telling the story of the development of the 1,000-acre campus, and its impact in Waterloo and beyond.
Special Collections & Archives has identified a number of duplicate titles in the collection that will be made available for sale to the public and university community.
