Intelligent Systems and Software

Intelligent systems and software research involves creating and designing end-to-end systems that leverage a combination of hardware and AI to collect data, analyze data to obtain knowledge, and communicate that knowledge to other systems and individuals.

Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning

Research and development in pattern recognition and machine learning involve the design of AI algorithms that can learn to perform tasks, make predictions, and recognize patterns and trends directly from data and information.

Medical Imaging and Image Processing

This field involves the design of AI algorithms to enable better imaging data acquisition, processing and reconstruction, and image analysis and computer-aided clinical decision support and treatment planning using medical imaging devices. It also involves the development of AI-powered medical imaging systems to obtain information that can't be obtained using standard medical imaging systems.

Big Data and Analytics

Research and development in this area involve the design and development of AI algorithms to analyze a large wealth of structured and unstructured data, as well as the software architecture and platforms to enable large-scale data analytics.
