The following parking lots can have space reserved for guests and can use "pay on exit vouchers". We can only guarantee space if a reservation is made. These lots are in high demand and it is advised to contact parking services at least 48 hours before your guest arrives.
Vouchers are available for purchase through the Parking Services office only. Exit vouchers charged to a departmental account are tax exempt and are charged at the pre-tax rate. Please contact uparking@uwaterloo.ca to make inquiries about reservations and payment vouchers.
A Lot
A lot is a Staff/Faculty lot Monday - Friday until 4:30 p.m.and a Visitor lot from 4:30 p.m. and all day during the weekend. This lot allows for reservation during visitor hours by UW Departments only. UW Departments making a reservation must contact parking services to cover the cost of parking for their guests with a department account number.
The cost for visitors is $3.00/hour via AIMS moble pay-Zone Lot A
D Lot
D Lot is a visitor lot that allows for reservation by UW Departments only. UW Departments making a reservation must purchase exit vouchers to cover the cost of parking for their guests with a department account number.
The cost for visitors who enter without a reservation is $3.00 an hour to a maximum of $21. After 3:45 p.m and on weekends this lot is a flat rate of $7.00.
H Lot
H lot is a Visitor lot. This lot allows for reservation by UW Departments only. UW Departments making a reservation must purchase exit vouchers to cover the cost of parking for their guests with a department account number.
Visitor parking and reservations are only available during non co-op days or after 4pm. Outside of co-op days the cost is $3.00 an hour to a maximum of $14. After 3:45 p.m and on weekends this lot is a flat rate of $7.00.

R Lot

Those departments looking to make reservations for guests to the University of Waterloo can do so at uparking@uwaterloo.ca. We ask that reservations are sent a minimum of 48 hours in advance. Please include as much information as possible including an account number in order to guarantee your guest a space in the lot.
