As outlined in the University of Waterloo Retirees’ Association and University of Waterloo Memorandum of Agreement, all retirees are eligible for a 25% rate reduction for term permit parking.
Retirees who continue to work (in a different capacity) can retain their existing lot permit and pay monthly, or purchase a permit for lot X.
The cost of a permit for retirees is $186/term for each term (fall, winter, and spring). Term passes can be purchased from the Sustainable Transportation office. Price includes tax and a 25% discount.
