Bi-Weekly Coffee Hangout

Composing Louis Riel's Dream:
Conrad Grebel University College is holding this year’s virtual Benjamin Eby Lecture with Dr. Karen Sunabacka, entitled, "Composing Louis Riel's Dream: Exploring the history of the Red River Settlement through family stories and music", on Thursday October 21st at 7:30 pm. During this event, we participants will explore the history of the red river settlement through family stories and music.
Mennonnite Central Committee (MCC)
The MCC is hosting an event that staff and former staff will reflect on reconciliation-in-action. What does it look like, and how it addresses and prevents violence. Please visit here to find more information and to register.

Milton Good Library
The Milton Good Library is open with in-person and virtual services. The library is open Monday-Thursday, 8:30 am-7:00 pm and Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm. Individual study tables are available on a first come, first served basis (as well as public computers).

Thrive
Thrive is a series of events focused on building positive mental health for students, faculty, and staff at the University of Waterloo. This will happen between October 18- November 12.
It is also a mindset that encourages one to flourish. Thrive aims to increase mental health literacy, build healthy habits and self-care skills, and create an inclusive and supportive campus environment through various events and initiatives.
