Planning for the Future: A panel discussion about Canada in 2100

As part of their cross-Canada tour to discuss CIP’s Imaging Canada in 2100 project, the School of Planning will be hosting the Canadian Institute of Planners' College of Fellows for a panel discussion on the future of planning. 

The panel will include a variety of topics, including climate change, shifting demographics and economic conditions, affordable housing, municipal infrastructure.

UWPAT 33rd Annual Planning Alumni Dinner - Thursday, November 13, 2025

The School of Planning is pleased to announce that the University of Waterloo Planning Alumni of Toronto (UWPAT) is once again hosting its annual in-person dinner! The dinner will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto. Dr. Brian Doucet is hosting a FREE screening of his documentary film “Thinking Beyond the Market: A Film About Genuinely Affordable Housing”
