Political Science mourns the loss of Richard Nutbrown

Richard Nutbrown.
Professor Richard Nutbrown, professor of political science at the University of Waterloo, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2012. Having joined the Department in 1982, Professor Nutbrown served in the Department for nearly thirty years. The Department of Political Science will be holding a memorial service for Prof. Nutbrown in the fall term.

The Richard Nutbrown Fund at the University of Waterloo has been established to celebrate the teaching, leadership and scholarship of Professor Nutbrown. Friends, colleagues and former students who wish to contribute to this fund in honour of Prof. Nutbrown may do so in one of the following three ways:

1. Send in cheques to the Development Office, University of Waterloo, 200 University Avenue, Waterloo, ON N2L 3G1, with a notation on the cheque that says "The Richard Nutbrown Fund"

2. Call the University of Waterloo Development Office at 519-888-4567 x32038 to make a donation (using a credit card) once again, giving the name of the "The Richard Nutbrown Fund"

3. Or donate online:
  • Under “Where would you like to designate your gift?” choose Select Other Projects from the drop down menu.
  • Under “Area of Giving”, choose “Faculty of Arts” from the drop down menu
  • Under “Project (fund)”, choose “Other” from the drop down menu, and type in “The Richard Nutbrown Fund.”
