"Two and a half examples"

After some review and a useful exercise on locally ringed spaces, we will look at three important examples. Affine plane minus the origin, affine line with doubled origin and the projective line. (We have seen the first example already, hence the half in the title.) We will show that all of these are schemes that are not affine.
